Special Events
At Master Chong’s World Class Tae Kwon Do, we like to offer additional events for our students and their families to enjoy all year round. From our School Picnic to our Health Kick for Charity, there is always something around the corner our students are looking forward to attending. Fun, games, and quality time make our special events perfect for families and friends alike.
School Picnic
Food and fun all day long is the theme at Master Chong’s school picnic. Families are invited to enjoy activities such as water balloon toss, volleyball, blob tag, and instructor’s tug of war in this great summertime event.
Tournament
Students look forward to demonstrating their Tae Kwon Do abilities at our school tournaments. Children and adults can participate in one or more events as well as watch exciting team performances. Friends and family are invited to watch and cheer on everyone.
Halloween Party
Instructors and students are invited to come in costume for fun, games, and surprises. Prizes for best costume and Trick or Treat goodie bags make this a special event our students look forward to attending every year.
Awards Banquet
Our Annual Awards Banquet Dinner is an entertaining night of celebration and appreciation for our students and instructors. Awards such as Student of the Year are presented as laughter and sincere thanks intermingle in this fun-filled event.
Health Kick for Charity
Every year students at Master Chong’s participate in our Board Break-a-Thon Healthkick. The event raises money for Children’s Hospital and features students performing self-defense routines, Olympic style sparring, and the breaking of over 3,000 boards.
Black Belt Testing
In additional to our monthly colored belt testing, Master Chong’s holds several black belt testing events every year. Students eligible for black belt perform demonstrations in addition to their belt requirements, and are honored in a special ceremony to recognize their achievement.
